MYLAR®

Mylar®: It is a brand of a special type of polyester film. It is chemically stable, reflective, flexible and has high tensile strength.
Hostaphan®, DyFilm®, Melinex® are other well-known trade names for this plastic, which is known as BoPET or biaxially oriented polyethylene terephthalate.

We supply in thicknesses from 0.019 - 0.50 mm in rolls or cut tapes, which can be feathered, shaped or punched according to customer requirements.
Temperature class B 130 °C in continuous working

Use:

• electrical and thermal insulator for motors, transformers, generators, coils, cables and wires
• supporting material for lamination and combining with materials to obtain compounds with different properties
• production of flexible packaging for the food industry
• printing industry, solar panels, space blankets
• gas barrier, etc.
