Properties

• High moisture absorption, up to 2.7% in a standard environment. This results in increased impact strength. In thin-walled elements, it results in a reduction in mechanical strength and dimensional stability
• Excellent sliding properties
• Extremely high abrasion resistance
• High mechanical strength associated with high impact toughness
• Excellent workability
• Good adhesive properties
• Good weldability

Chemical resistance

Highly resistant to: hydrocarbons, lyes, fats, oils, fuels, ethers, esters and ketones.
Non-resistant to: halogen, mineral acids and some organic acids, oxidizing agents.

Fields of application
Usable universally for parts requiring high load; Often used as a substitute for aluminum or bronze. It also allows the production of large-volume parts.
