• High moisture absorption, up to 2.7% in a standard environment. This results in increased impact strength. In thin-walled elements, it results in a reduction in mechanical strength and dimensional stability
• Excellent sliding properties
• High abrasion resistance
• Extremely high tensile strength and hardness over a wide temperature range
• Excellent workability
• Good adhesive properties
• Good weldability
• Perhaps a long-term high operating temperature
